I...Hello Tessa, I agree with your views on obesity. I also feel that obesity is a problem that should be more looked at in this country. Would you mind reading my blog at "http://yetanotheraveragejoe.blogspot.com/"?
I would like to have your perspective.

Joe Trapp
jt249110@ohio.edu
The Green Room at Ohio UniversityAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5947568698860985209.post-78780703492485785472012-02-16T14:42:06.706-08:002012-02-16T14:42:06.706-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14380393227783751899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5947568698860985209.post-66180492415444439832012-02-15T10:29:25.523-08:002012-02-15T10:29:25.523-08:001.) If you are having trouble understanding the problem or solution, how might your partner clarify their position?
You state the problem here, "Obesity is a serious medical condition that can take years off your life and talking to a doctor could possibly save your life. It increases the risk of developing a number of diseases including, “Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack, heart failure, cancer (cancer of the prostate and cancer of the colon and rectum), gallstones, gout and gouty arthritis, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, and pick-wickian syndrome" The problem is stated that obesity is life-threatening and can cause diseases. Solution: "After a few Leptin injections, the weight had dropped into the normal range”. People who lack Leptin tend to be obese, giving them Leptin injections will resolve the problem.

2.) Does the argument identify different angles of vision and explain why they are important to the audience? Which ones are the most interesting? Are their any angles that you feel might help their argument?
Her angle of vision is that she's trying to inform people that there are different causes of obesity other than just eating a lot. This is important to the audience because people think its okay to make fun of people who are obese, but in some cases the kid can't help that they're obese. It could be because they lack Leptin and its in their genes.

3.) Does your partner identify their own angle of vision, or a persona that they advocate from? Is there anything your partner could do to help clarify their angle of vision?
I think she identifies her angle of vision when she states, "After observing my family history, one relative after another has been obese and most people would assume “They are Italian, so they must eat a lot”, and this is not the case." and "People that can’t help the fact that they are obese have to deal with others staring out in public, and in high school. I have witnessed the bullying that kids encounter, and being a former high school student and it is very cruel." She gives her personal experiences to show where she is coming from in writing this essay.Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14380393227783751899noreply@blogger.com
